About Us
 The
Santa Barbara Children's Chorus is a multi-level,
performance based music education program for K-12. The program consists of
voice training, ensemble performance and music theory instruction.
Our program gives our 130-plus choristers the opportunity to perform
in local community venues, at national choral festivals and with
professional opera and symphony organizations.
The mission of the Santa Barbara Children's Chorus
is to inspire and develop the natural musicality of children and
youth of diverse cultures and economic backgrounds through artistic
choral performance. We nurture musical development through a comprehensive,
sequential music education program using the finest choral literature
and age-appropriate vocal training.
 Choristers
gain a unique sense of personal fulfillment, poise and self-confidence
by working as a team to achieve outstanding ensemble performance
and by contributing to the cultural life of their community.
