UNIFORM
The uniform for the chorus has been carefully chosen
to reflect the nature of our performance organization. Each chorister
is responsible for purchasing the uniform for their specific chorus
level. At the beginning of each season the chorus will sponsor a
"Uniform Swap" to assist in providing new/used uniforms
as the children grow.
- Jubilate: $60
- Bel Canto: $80
- Lyrique: $90
- Cantabile: $100
FUNDRAISING
The tuition amount each child pays only covers approximately
half of the actual cost of providing a high quality music education
program. Additional funds are raised by the board of directors,
and families participating in the Childrens Performing Chorus
Division through our annual HOLIDAY POINSETTIA SALE. Beginning this
season we will sponsor only ONE fundraiser and put all of our energy
into making it a tremendous success. We are aware that not all families
have the time or the inclination to participate in fundraisers,
but all chorus families do need to share responsibility for providing
continuing support of the chorus. Therefore, individual families
may choose one of the following options:
- Families may have their choristers participate
in the HOLIDAY POINSETTIA SALE each pledging to sell a minimum
of 20 poinsettias @$10 a piece ($5 profit to the chorus)
OR
- Families may donate $100 per chorister to the
chorus by the end of September (donations are tax-deductible)
CONCERT TICKETS
As part of our commitment to broadening the audience base of our community concerts, each family will be asked to purchase or sell 6 general admission tickets at $15. each, for each December and May concert. Families are given the tickets in advance to sell if they so choose. Each family will be charged $90 approximately 3 weeks prior to the concert. All children (including siblings) will be admitted free when they come with a paying adult.
